Finally, the bag is finished. I had to completely "redo" the band and handle. The original instructions said to use fusible fleece , but that was way too heavy for the grommets. They kept popping out. So I bought new fabric and used a lightweight interfacing. The grommets then went on beautifully.

Oohh! I really like that. I bought some grommets to make a bag for my DGD. I am glad to know about the fleece for my future project.

Is that the grid and grommet bag pattern?? I made a lot of those a couple of years ago and sold a couple of them. They are easy to make and putting in the big grommets too. Enjoy your purse is beautiful. Huggies, Fay
