That left over piece looks like the makings of a purse/bag. Love the jacket.

I just had to take my time, and think about what the instructions wanted me to do, also made a few notes on my pattern so next time, it will be easier. Trying to figure out the black strip about 2 strips away from zipper. Is that piping, ties hanging down?
