Default Quilted Recliner Slipcover-thing

You know that big thing in the living/TV room? The one that gets grubby and full of snack crumbs? No, not the DH....his recliner!

Well, the one in my living room looked pretty grubby and needed a new outfit. So I quilted a couple of yards of fabric to a plain black backing then pinned and cut and sewed like making a slipcover but with binding around the edges. Came out pretty well. It tucks in at the back and sides...needs adjusting after DH and the dogs have wrestled around in it, but it goes in the wash and comes out clean!

That is so cool, Pretty too! You've got to do a Tut!! I spend a lot of time in my recliner because of medical issues. This would be perfect!!! I cover the arms and stuff with a sheet but it's not anywhere near as pretty as that cover!!

I agree, would love to see a tutorial on how you did this. Beautiful and so wonderfully functional. Waiting (smile)!
