    Default Quilted for someone

I quilted this quilt for a lady- her husband’s mother hand embroidered this when she was 96! Amazing embroidery!
The blue sashing is a ( horrible) polyester fabric, they brought a polyester fleece for backing. For them the important part was just having it cozy and finished for him- his mom passed away a couple months ago. They wanted the fleece folded over & machine stitched- which I hated doing- it isn’t as wavy as it looks in the photos.

I'm sure it will be a comfort and a treasure for him. You did the best you could and it really is a blessing.

It is lovely. Any quilt that is a love quilt has its beauty in the giving. Beautiful embroidery is done with the flowers she made and you did a grand job on the quilting. Don't short change yourself.

You did your best. I am sure he will love it. I finished up a friend's mom's UFOs and she thinks I'm a miracle worker. They were far from perfect but they were complete.

That quilt will bring such comfort for him. The embroidery is impeccable & I'm amazed that she was 96 when she hand embroidered those blocks. Your finished work on it for them will be a treasure forever.
