Have to agree with Lisa_wanna_b_quilter.

Enjoy the outdoors - summer is too short. You can always quilt in the evenings or when it's raining outside.

You have a beautiful home and beautiful Garden... My kind of idea of life, I have not been able to quilt as much myself, too busy with the other things like gardening and being outdoors and on the lake. I guess I get most of my quilting done in the fall and winter.

Your home and garden are beautiful, no wonder you have not had time to quilt

In Iowa things tend to slow down in the summer too. People want to play outside, work in the garden, and travel during when it's warm. We tend to be more productive when we're cold and trapped inside--lots of the quilters and fiber artists I know love snow days!

You have a lovely home and your projects look great.
