Default Quilting made the Quilt

It just amazes me when you do a great job quilting and then the quilt becomes whole. This is a customer quilt and all she had was the embroidery on it and the four military branch blocks. The cougar was a painting that her DH did and the GD wanted a copy of it so she put it on fabric. I only went aroudn the main features and looks great. I think my favorite is the fish because the batting was a high loft and it gives a faux trapunto look and the fish looks like it is jumping out of water. I also really like the owl with the pine cone branches and needles.

You did an amazing job on this quilt. It looks both gorgeous and inviting. I would have found it hard to decide on how to quilt it but you made it look like a breeze and natural.

Very pretty blocks, the quilting really makes the quilt look beautiful. BrendaK

When you look at the quilt in person, you can see the quilting in the background which are moose, bears and trees. inbetween each row there are bears, foxes, coyotes, deer, rams, and foxes with leaves. It would not photo well for me.
