Great job on making this without a pattern! It looks wonderful, cheerful and colors make you smile!

Thanks so much everyone! I just spent some time filling it up with spare sewing things in case I want to take it to a class or take it on vacation with me. I made a matching needle case to go with it and filled that up too. Now I think just a sleeve or case for my combination cutting and ironing mat and mini iron and I would be set to go most any where and be happily sewing. Well... I still don't have a 221, but, that would be dreaming on my part. LOL!

Oh! If I remade this, I would exchange the way I did the ties and loop. It seems backwards to me.

You certainly did an excellent job for not having a pattern to follow.

Our quilt guild made some of those this past month, I liked theirs, but yours is soooo cute. The quilting is great too, keep up the good work. It is so great to make things we can use, I made a quilted check book cover. I need to make another one, because the one I made is getting old looking. I am spending time crocheting things for the last few months (afghans, and hats) for newborns in need. Thank you for sharing with us.

This turned out great, you must have remembered alot of what the pattern said, even tho you improvised. I am at a loss for 'sewing projects' without a pattern or tute.
