This is a project that is special to me - just finished. The baskets were made by my Grandmother. The fabrics look like 30's to me. I appliqued the baskets to muslin and added the yo yo's which I made from vintage material. The sashing and border are not vintage. I saw a pillow that my Grandmother had made with the basket and yo yo's; that is why I put these together like this. I hand quilted it. The dark spots you see in the picture is where I spritzed it to remove quilting markings. They will dry. Thanks for looking.

What a wonderful treasure you have! I'm sure your grandmother would be so proud of you for finishing her blocks and turning them into such a beautiful quilt.

Really neat that you have those old blocks and put them together.
