oma66, thank you for the compliments on my quilts. Your great grandson is so cute. I have a great granddaughter, I know she looks like a little boy because she doesn't have much hair yet, but she is a little girl. I lived in Phoenix for several years and just love Arizona.

Your quilts look great! I am also learning to quilt on a longarm, and it's not as easy as it looks! By the way, my mother lived in Nowata when she was young!

QOV stands for Quilts of Valor. These quilts go to veteran hospitals and are given to the wounded coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan to let them know we are thinking of them and appreciate their service for our country. When they get to leave the hospital and go home they get to take their quilt with them. We get some awsome letters from the recipients. They really do appreciate what we are doing for them.
