Thank you for your kind comments. This is my first out of Province donation and I am excited to do this. The flowers read Japan for me so I hope it becomes special to a survivor. The flowers were appliqued before the quilting.

Painiacs, I am happy to hear your family is safe. It must have been a very stressful time for you. Peole all over the world are sharing the sorrows of those that survived.

If you google "Quilts for Japan.com" you will find the Quilter's Newsletter who is doing a worldwide collection of quilts. Their deadline is April 30. If you google "Quilts for Japan.ca" canadians will find out how to donate a quilt.
