Those are beautiful, she will just love them! You did a wonderful job picking out patterns, they really complement the fabrics you had to use. The piecing looks so precise, too! Two big thumbs up!

You did a WONDERFUL JOB on that assignment!!! Love the first one especially!! Hope you will show us the tops after they have been quilted and finished. I'm sure they will be Cherished by his family, and you will be blessed doing such a kind gesture, and creating a BEAUTIFUL HEIRLOOM!!
