Just ran across new pansy fabrics on Marcus' website. You all can look at the full collections on their site, http://www.marcusfabrics.com/cgi-bin...i?Category=534 for the autumn (brown & teal) colors or http://www.marcusfabrics.com/cgi-bin...i?Category=537 for the pink colorway.

These are pretty much the same artwork as before, except it seems that they've "antiqued" the flowers (if that's the way to put it) by making them speckly, not fully colored in. I like the colors, and the flowers, but not the speckles. Is it just me, or is this group new but not an improvment?

Nope, I don't like the speckles either. It looks like a misprint after seeing the older fabrics with full color. But I do like the colorway.

Not a fan of the fabrics - likes the plaid one in the group though.

    Not my taste either.

The speckling makes it look like a misprint to me.

I usually love floral prints, but these are not one of my favorites.

I really don't like this one... I would be tempted to color them the rest of the way.....

    My thoughts exactly!

It makes so little sense, they speckling... I'm going to have to e-mail customer service at Marcus and ask if they really are going to be like that, or if their pictures are just "off". They have always had very good pictures in the past, though.
