    Raffle Medallion quilt finally finished!

I posted a couple weeks ago about this quilt & if you'd like to find out the story on this, please see posting. ("Totally out of my element"). I finally got it totally finished! I'm really happy with it & hope it & another quilt someone else is donating for the raffle (haven't seen it yet) bring lots of money for the military group. I just SITD the medallion rows & FMQ around everything in the center square. Thought I'd just keep it simple so as not to take away from the quilt itself. The first pic shows backing fabric & red binding. The raffle will be end of June. Thanks for looking.

I don't know what the technique is called but I love the way you did the border - it looks like the red is wrapped around the blue! stunning effect!

I agree, couldn't have said it any better. Perfect fabric for the backing.

Very nice and I hope it raises lots of money, too. I really like the 'twining' of the red.

I got it from quilterscache site...it's called Entwined. Lots of HST & you really need to watch where they go correctly, but so worth it! They have lots of border ideas.
    Thanks for the nice comments.

Some lucky person will will this. I also hope it raises lots of money. If people only knew how much love and thought goes into a quilt. Good luck.
