It's very pretty, the pink and blue/green work so well together. What a lucky DD

That's a very pretty rag quilt. I usually make my batting squares 8" and flannel squares 10". So this is a refreshing change seeing so many squares of color in what is relatively the same size that I usually make. What usually takes the longest is the snipping. If you have a pair of rag quilt snips it goes by quicker and less painfully! If not, and you plan on ever making another, get at least one pair. The secret is to pay attention to where you're snipping, and if you ever snip through the seam, fix it immediately.

I'm sure your dd will love it! It will surely keep her warm for many years. We have a few in the family room and cuddle up with them as needed. Keep in mind that they usually shed for a while and empty the dryer lint trap often (every 5 minutes) when drying the first bunch of times.

What size are your blocks? Batting 5 1/2" and material 7 1/2"? If you have the time, please pm me with that information. Thanks.
