Default Wedding Quilt & Bears

I am reposting photo of the quilt I made for my son and new daughter-in-law and now have completed the Teddy Bears that will go with it. The bears are handmade and fully jointed out of English mohair. The fabric was originally white but since bride loves purple I dyed it. I had one catastrophe in bear construction as I was unable to get the joint in the necks to tighten correctly, resulting in the Heidi bear losing her head so I had to rejoint and then I sewed the head to the body so hopefully no more heads will be lost. I am also attaching photo of 3rd present- a beautiful garden rock of champagne glasses that signifies the rock their marriage is built on. I found the artist who makes these at a craft show about 10 years ago and it seems every year I buy a new rock for a present or myself. The quilt is a kit I bought from Craftys - Ice Cream Quilt - the colors are much brighter and less yellow.

I buy them from www.edinburghimports.com. They are in CA and I have used them for years.
