I love it!! I'm making some and badly want one for myself, but no time! At least my lap is warm while I'm snipping away!
I love the colors of yours. Your husband will love it!

That is beautiful. I think it is the first ragged flannel quilt that I really liked. Your pictures made me want to make a ragged flannel quilt myself. How big did you make the squares? Thanks for posting the picture.

Thanks! :-D
Squares are cut at 7", so with a 1/2" seam, finish at 6". Batting is cut 5.75". I love them because they are as close to a hug to go as one can give, and when it's done--it's done--no sandwiching, quilting, or binding.

To rag it doesn't hurt my hands much at all...I first cut all the corners up, then I lay the quilt on the ironing board with a seam laying toward me--and cut it from right to left (I'm backwards, I know), then pull it up to the next seam. Once one side is done, I turn it and do all the rows going to other way. This one took awhile, but my hands didn't hurt, except when I have to use the ends of the scissors in close spots.

8'x6' LOL I have to make the same size for my hubby with Mickey and black. he hates having his toes stick out. and hes a blanket hog! just got a KING size comforter for our queen bed and he steals it all!!

Nice use of leftovers from last yr. what does the back of a scrappy flannel quilt look like? and how many squares across and wide, and how many total? do you use all the same square for the layers? like 3 autumn squares for the one finished square.
