This is my first completed paper pieced project. The pattern for the cows is from Piecemeal Quilts. I made it as a baby gift for some friends of mine who are dairy farmers. They absolutely loved it, and loved all the bright colours. They had their fourth daughter, so I made four cows, but I wanted the finished quilt to be rectangular, so I added the stripes in the middle. I'm very happy with the finished result. My older two kids are holding it up for the photo.
