Yes, I made a wall hanging for my laundry room! Well, I actually spend a good bit of time in there, I always fold laundry as I get it out of the dryer standing right there in the laundry room. Yesterday, while doing laundry chore, I started thinking that it would be great to have something pleasant to look at while I am in there( I actually painted the room sometime in January) and right there while I was folding unmentionables, I started designing this wall hanging in my head. When done with chores, I headed to my sewing room and started executing the design, then I finished it and hung it today! I didn't use batting, just flannel in this one. It measures about 25 by 28.
Don't tell anyone, but I am actually looking forward to doing laundry next week

What a wonderful way to express yourself and make a mundane chore a fun event. Very clever and I LOVE these colors. Thank you for sharing.

Well, I think you've been reading my mind! DH and I worked in our basement last week and I ended up with a 6' section of kitchen-type bottom cabinet with a nice countertop. I cleaned the room and got everything arranged like I wanted. Now I can take clothes out of the dryer and fold them right away. As I was folding my first load, I stood staring at a blank wall thinking about how great a wallhanging would look on there. I must get to work on one now.
