I pray each night he goes to bed he has sweet dreams and feels like he's covered in a blanket of love. Beautiful job.

The love you're giving him through this quilt along with the love of his grandparents will go a long way.

Your quilt is beautiful and I understand you not wanting to part with it. But your heart is in the right place. I hope all goes well with your DB and SIL. Sometimes it can be rough to raise kids these days, but they have experience and I'm sure it well be the best in the long run. God bless you for caring and your family for making his life a happier place for him.
God bless you all,
Country1

Hi, you and your family have done a wonderful thing, I applaud you and them.

I used to have a heck of a time with binding too, now I hand baste the edge of the quilt, close to the edge so it will be covered by the binding, no more puckers!!! The corners, I stitch all the way threw then take out enough stitches to make a nice corner, it seems to vary with binding size but when you get the first one done you can guess where to stop with the other 3, just don't lock stitch. I sure hope this helps you with binding, it did me.

It's a beautiful quilt, and he should cherish having something made for him at this difficult time in his life. Knowing he's wanted by his new family is so important right now. His parents - well I won't say it, but we all know what we're thinking about THEM. I hope this young man is getting some counseling to deal with his issues of abandonment.

Sad when parents don't know how to deal with their own child. So glad to hear he has someone who cares. He will treasure this, as you cared enough to make it for just him. God Bless.
