I love blues but don't have any scraps of it. Maybe because I used them all? LOL Love your quilt. A lot of quilts look much better after we put them up for awhile. Glad your friends talked you into keeping it.

Some quilts, like fine wines and good cheeses, need to age a bit! Glad that was the case with yours. The new layout you used is commonly known as "Buckeye Beauty", not an Irish chain.

GRAMMER-I wish his life choices could be changed w/just a pep talk. Unfortunately, we have learned he is dabbling in drugs. I love him too much to give him something he could sell for $$ for that! BUT, I will take your advise and give him a call this weekend...love that boy too much to loose him!

Very pretty in blues. Time gives a different perspective. Glad you didn't give up on it.

Isn't it amazing what can happen when you put away a quilt for a while that you are not having fun working on, then coming up with a better idea for the quilt. I love your quilt.

I love Irish chains and yours is an interesting and fun variation that really works well.

Beautiful. I am trying to pull blues blacks and creams together for a quilt for my brother. Liking D9P or the turning twenty.
