Default Recent Commissioned quilts completed:) Moons in the Windows and African Queens.

I was asked to make some quilts for a friend. She chose the patterns and I bought the necessary templates and the pattern for the Moons in The Window quilt as I would likely use them again. She bought everything else but the thread. I did the meandering quilting on both in Superior's clear thread. I helped here with her fabric selection and charged her the "family" rate, she gave me a substantial tip that brought it in line with what others might have charges for a twin and over sized double. We chose Kaufman backings at L and M Fabrics in Anaheim. Needless to say we were both overjoyed with the results. The African Queen was a block of the month from my guild a few years ago.

WOW. Both are BEAUTIFUL. Love them both but the "The African Queen" is stunning. Would love to make a lap quilt for my friend from this pattern. Where can you find the pattern please? Is it paper pieced? Super work. BrendaK

Both of your quilts are great. I love the colors you used in moons in the windows. Nice job.
