Wow am I behind here....been feeling down and think I got quilters elbow or something....just ackey......still ackey but here.....I do try to sew a little everyday but sometimes I don't get to it but I don't sleep well so this is what I do so I don't wake DH......

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and taking the time to write and let me know how you like makes me feel good...:-)

The outside border is predone and that is what I went off for colors....It was fabric my Mom had and she didn't know what to do with it so .....this is what become of it and I have more so I'll have to make another quilt with that border.....:-)

The patteren is actually the same as the other one I showed on here about a month ago.....Which has the book and all the info you need if you want to make a quilt like this....they have several patterns in that book and it is well worth the money I think and there is even a cheaper place to buy the book than where I did....I paid full price.....but still am happy I bought the book.....:-)

well, I looked at the book the other day, and I decided to wait just a bit to see if price came down. I went to this new site you gave, and got for less than half on the other site. yippee! A new book, a quilt book, and a bargain...I couldn't resist anymore...cheese to a mouse! :D

Hi cathie!

I don't know how I missed this thread! What a pretty spring like quilt it turned out to be in these colors. I like it very much!

You do such beautiful work, hon. And what I can't understand is how fast and accurate you are. That must be what happens when you have done so many beauties like you have.

I hope I can figure out my colors for mine when I get to it. I guess I will need a starting fabric like you do. There is only two ahead of this one. Does it go pretty fast? Maybe I will bump this one up. LOL!

RedGarnet222.....I so anxious to see others try this....I'm almost sick to my stomache....after all so many have bought the book ....I hope everyone finds it simple enough to do....I thought it went fast but I was anxious to see it done...that always helps....:-).....

I think I'm gonna redo the ends on this quilt I should have mitered the cornors but didn't so now I think I'm gonna put a block in the corner....:-(....I'll give it a try........

Thanks again everyone.....you do know how to make a person feel good!...:-)

That is really attractive!
And, I like the way you took the print from white pieces and created a similar applique around the outside border.
Did you use fusible webbing to do that?

Beautiful quilt! I have ordered the book through my guild, so I will have to wait a bit to get it, but I am excited about what you have done. Hope I can do something near as well!
