Wedding Quilt and Pillows Finished

A very dear friend is getting married tomorrow...he's our "second" son for over 20 years and actually stood up for my daughter in her wedding! We love him dearly. Tomorrow is his special day and I wanted to give him and his bride something special, so I made a quilt! What more appropriate gift can there be? When I did the blocks, I had to cut 1" off of one side and I thought...what can I do with these pieces? The wheels started churning and the pieces became two pillows! Another dear friend of mine has a longarm and she quilted the quilt for me. The design is Aspen leaves ... appropriate for all of the flowers motifs. I pulled my colors from two floral squares that were full of colors. I just love the out come and I hope you do too!
