Default Red Half Log Cabin: ANy suggestions?

ok, not a big bragger, but I must say.... I really did a good job piecing this quilt. I only hope that I can quilt it just as well. if I can quilt it really good, I will pay someone to hand bind it for me and see about entering it in a show.

I am going to feather the red/dark for sure, I think I will outline each section/log of the tans/lights. I will do the lights first and then turn the quilt on point on the frame so i can do the feathers without stopping and starting. It will take a while to get done, but i am looking forward to the challenge. It is always hardest to take that first stitch. All the what if's and the second guessing..... but it is loaded on the frame and I will start on it this coming weekend.

If you have any suggetions for quilting the tan/light I would love to hear them.

Thanks

oh, the technique is from the book by Sharyn Craig called Half Log Cabin Quilts.

That turned out really pretty. I'm sure it will look fantastic when it's quilted. Peggy

No suggestions on quilting here either, but absolutely LOVE the quilt. I'm not usually a fan of reds but yours is so beautiful! You did a great job on it -- please post after it is quilted.
