What an undertaking! It turned out beautiful and a lot of work and sweat and probably tears involved with this project. Thank you for sharing this! Just gorgeous! I have 3 that I've been asked to try to bring back to life - all of them from my hubby's ancestors having given him gifts as he grew up.... wow! I'm not sure I'll finish them in my lifetime for all I'm doing, but certainly will try. I also have one my grandmother made for me - another great undertaking! But, I will endure however long I can to make these "new" again.
