Every year I make a 12 inch block for the Relay for Life raffle quilt, and for the past 3 years I have donated my long arm quilting services to quilt and bind the quilts. I have offered again this year.

The colours signify different types of cancer, and this year the colours are: Brown for Colon, colorectal cancer, Teal for Ovarian, cervical cancer, Peach for Uterine cancer and White for Bone cancer.

As I make the block and long arm the quilt, I pray for everyone with cancer and for whomever will win the quilt.

God bless! Janie

Thanks for posting. This means a lot since my dear friend lost her father to colon cancer this past fall. What a gorgeous block to signify hope and life!
