If you look carefully, you'll see that there are 4 x 5 blocks made up of 4 triangles. Each triangle has a kite, two longer right triangles and two shorter equilateral triangles. I hope that helps.

Beautiful quilt and what a lucky son to receive his second security and well loved quilt. Love the scenery around you too. Thx for sharing. You are a great Mom to do this for him-we never stop doing for our children do we?

I don't know if this will help. I made an outline of the templates and scanned it. It's on a standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. You'll need 1 kite shape, two right angle triangles, and two of the other triangles for each quarter block. Do be careful, though, because the pattern involves mirror images.
