Dear Jane, Oh I was HOPING you would see this post and approve of my attempt at honoring you with my version of your original quilt!!!!!!! I have been looking at your close-ups to see what you did with yours in terms of hand quilting. I like the way yours looks. I might follow your idea and also tie it where the four corners meet.

It is so big, it will take a long time to quilt... the funny thing is, we don't even have a King bed yet... but hey, if I finish the quilt, I HAVE to get a new bed to fit it, right? Hahaha. Thank you for your inspiration!

This is really pretty. I love your color choices. Question- did the blocks take you 10 minutes?

Actually, I got quite proficient after having made so many 10-Minute blocks, that I could whip them out in way less than ten minute's time! Now, I was very organized and did all my cutting first, then all the sewing, then pressing, then changing thread for the finishing top-stitching. So I did them rather "assembly-line" fashion. I totally copied the color scheme from AZ Jane. Check hers out under "Christian's 10 Minute Block (not)"
