Oh, Lori---what an adorable quilt!!!! It came out spectacular!! You really outdid yourself! Did you have any trouble getting all of your blocks to fit together? I found that to be the most challenging part. Are you going to quilt it yourself or are you going to send it out???

I LOVE your chicken quilt. Now I will have to start collecting fabrics to make one myself. It is such a fun quilt. You did a super job.

I want to do a variety of hand quilting on this one and yes getting it all fitted together was a challenge. I had it ALL done and ready to sew top section to bottom section and the top was 5" too narrow... HENCE the "Sky is falling" strip on the side. I thought it was SO appropriate!

What a wonderful happy quilt!!!!! Looks like most of the patches are applique - this quilt is too, too perfect. What a conversation piece it is!

    You're a real artist, Mommagus.

I loved your "sky is falling" the second I saw it. My daughter noticed it first too!! All of your blocks are great. I cannot wait to see it all quilted. I wish I could see it in person--I know that is how a chicken quilt is best appreciated!!!
