I bought cotton batting by the yard at Joann's. I am not sure of the brand. I expected some shrinkage but not that much. LOL! All's well that ends well! Thanks!

I was also surprised that the red dye was still running. I washed the reds three times and the blues and greens at least once, maybe twice before cutting the them. The quilt now has a cozy and comfy look and the quilting pops! Again, all's well that ends well!

Yes, that's my 7 year old Bichon! As I wash each layer of bedding and put it back on the bed, she's up there cuddling the pillows. I don't let her directly on my pillowcase, ew. But...I will let her on the other covers. Thanks for the compliments!!!

when i first learned to quuilt my teacher had us wash everything even muslin so i still do it today still nice quilt
