I don’t know why it shows up turned sideways...

Usually, I can right click on the picture, choose "open in new tab", click on that new tab and the picture comes up right side up. But that didn't happen with this picture. It stayed on its side. You must have taken the picture with the camera turned sideways. ? ? ! ! !

Amazing what a bit of cleaning and soaking can do for some old blocks. Very nice, very nice indeed.

This is very pretty. I wanted to know if the retroclean you soaked this quilt in, did it discolor the dark fabric?

I soaked the quilt in retro clean,which got rid of the nasty,brown background and brightened up the reds. Then I put it in my washing machine ( gasp) on gentle with a dash of synthrapol. If the quilt couldn’t stand up to that action,it would have gone to the dog bed. It survived!
