I decided to use the "calmest" print from the log cabin blocks for the border. Then I just rolled it to the back and hemmed it by hand instead of adding another binding. I am very pleased with the result, and I got brave enough to charge them $100, so I feel good about that too!! Thanks for all the suggestions, it was helpful.
