Our grandaughter fell off the swing set on Father's Day with her Papa watching her...
The two grandchildren have lived with us the past 6 months and just moved out :-( Missing them already and driving 2.5 hours tomorrow to see them.

Rosey is our "new" love, she is 100 yrs old and works beautifully. Jeanette would wake me up at 6:30 am and say, Nana the needle needs threading.

She made this little quilt and quilted it with batting all by herself.
Jeanette said, the pattern she quilted was called Sparklers.

That is wonderful - good times with the grandchildren - she will take this with her throughout her life. Hope her arm is healing well.

So sorry about the arm. Looks like it isn't stopping her! Good for her!

She went through my scrap blocks in a flash. Loves to piece, so I'm going to find her an old Singer like mine!

If she can do that with a broken arm, what will she do when it is healed? Wow, that is dedication and I know you are so proud!

That should be some inspiration for all those of you who are afraid or nervous about machine quilting! If she can do it at such a young age AND with a cast on her arm, you can do it too! What a great picture and the start of a life long hobby- you go, grandma!
