I posted pictures when I finished this top, it is for a dear friend who has suffered a heart attack and two strokes in the last three years, she is only 51 years old and wheelchair bound as a result. Rose had admired my 'Lily' quilt (in my avatar) and joked that she wanted a quilt with a ragdoll on too and her name...

So here it is and a picture of Rose with her 'Rosie Posie' lap quilt this afternoon, she was tickled pink with it!!

Close up of quilting, getting better!

Thanks Hilary, Rose was really touched, but said I couldn't add her picture to Facebook as he hates to see herself look like an invalid...so sad..

Thanks everyone, as the lady's name was Rose, I rummaged in my stash and found two fat quarters with roses on and found scraps that blended with the colours in it...that's all I ever do, find a focus fabric and select colours that 'go'!!

    :-D
