    Default Round Robin Finished

I got Elaine's RR for the final border, anything we wanted to do. I thought it should reflect me. I am associated with painted quilts. The last round was applique. I thought that would be too much. The other thing that people associate with me is feathers. So for the final round of the RR, I decided to put a small half inch border and an outer border for feathers and quilt the top so the outer border would have my feathers.

I also squared the quilt for her and cut the binding strips. No I didn't put them on.

Great Quilting ! Can you explain how this RR worked ? I have never seen one where you quilted it as it moved along

We exchanged at our meeting each month. Those who wanted to participate brought a square, the first month we had to use a square in our border, the next month a triangle, the next month applique and this last month we could do anything we wanted. But the rules that are generally the same are that you bring a square, it passes to another person each month until you are finished.

We cheated. We had the person whose block it was put their heads down and everyone else saw the progress each month. Usually you all wait until the end. But it just shows that you can make up your own rules.
