maybe finish it with 6 odd sides. Strawberry shortcake, Donna Dewberry daisy faces, teddy bear fairies. fun fabrics !

I don't think it has to be square! No quilt police zone!!!

It's very cute and colorful. It'll give baby lots to look at.

It'll never be a square unless you cut thru the flowers to square it, or applique it onto a square piece of fabric.
If a square quilt it really important to you and you don't wish to cut the flowers you can keep adding the green around the quilt til you have a square and then halve the outer edge greens.

square(er) than round.. like the odd shapes for binding.. will use narrow strip, very narrow.. <grin>

I've done a ton of binding on "odd" shaped quilts. It'll be great - use bias binding and go slowly!

I love it as it is.

How big are your hexies?

Thanks, working on green hexigons to finish and get nearly rectangle.

hexigons are 1 1/5 inch sides, 3 inches from point across center to opposite point.

yes, narrow binding planned, machine quilting in each hexigon. have done one before but arranged floweretts differantly.

crossing fingers get it done soon !
