Great quilt!! I bet you make lots of $ for a good cause. Great timing on the finish. I do love that border fabric and what a great idea to fussy cut the lions.

Thanks everyone! It sure was fun - and this is the pattern from my 1st quilt ever, which was SO HARD to do, and this time 4-5 years later, it was quite easy!

The quilt didn't bring as much as I had hoped but did bring in either $80 or $100!! So I am happy about that, it's that much more money than they had before!

Plus, I "won" a Wine Bar/Cafe gift card with 2 bottles of wine so I can take my DH out for his 40th birthday, along with our next door neighbors (she was with me at the fundraiser) since she had a gift card for the same place! I also got one of those outdoor portable basketball goals for only $35!!

Cheers, adn happy Sunday!

I like it!!!!! The fabrics are beautiful----you did a great job. I hope it raises lots of money. (be sure there is a "reserve") I like the way you fussy cut each of the lion's faces for the squares.

I got the border fabric and the fuzzy cut/sashing fabric from Joanns, I need to go back there this week and see if they have anymore - i love it so much!
