Don't know why but I have been in a really great mood to quilt in the last couple of weeks and grateful for it. I haven't been making many quilts the last couple of years.

I'm still trying to decide what kind of border to put on this one or to just go right to quilting it and bind it.

any opinions on what might look best?

I would use a dark blue or navy 1st border then make more of the blocks in the quilt and use them on the border. Bind with the sam material as the 1st border.

Beautiful, colourful quilt! I'd probably use a fairly wide navy blue border to frame it and then bind it in the hot pink. That would be the simplest way to finish it but the bright blocks probably don't need anything else.

Those are both great suggestions! I'll have to do an audition to see which might work best, based on what I have available in my stash.

I'm thinking no binding. The colors are delightful and let the eye roam around the quilt. A dark border would just stop the eye from traveling. After all that's what the border is supposed to do isn't it? It stops our line of sight to direct us back. I'd leave it alone.

I agree with a dark blue or even a purple border. I think it needs a border to give it a finished look. It is a beautiful, colorful quilt!! :D

A dark border would look best. I think all quilts need a border to frame the quilt center.
Very pretty.

No suggestions, just wanted to say how pretty it is. The colors just pop and make you smile.
