They were all done by machine, thick thread in the bobbin and I have no idea how I adjusted the tension to get the black(top) thread to come thru. The 2 kids(adults) I gave it to are just about the best people in the world, they are so "not" into material possessions but this hit them both the same way.

I have alot of quilts my inlaws made....alot from the 1930's that I proudly display. I know there are errors on them (nobody would know) but that shows they were handmade with love.

I am assembling my first quilt now and I know there will be errors, but, I don't care cause its my first one.

Its beautiful and I love the black.
