For those wanting Crown Royal bags...
You could probably go to any bar and restaurant and ask them if you can have them.
They probably go through several bottles a week, since it is a very popular Canadian Whiskey...
I have seen someone make a puff quilt out of them and it was very nice.

Jackie, I guess you'll have to start drinking heavily to get enough bags to make him a quilt. The sacrifices we make for our children...

The Crown Royal quilt is gorgeous. Aren't you the clever girl???

I like your quilt. I have about 150 bags and have never done anything with them. The post on Bear Paw fabrics is really nice too. I thought everybody knew what Crown Royal is. It's not cheap either. Well known in Texas. Daddy calls it good toothache medicine. Thanks for the post, you have given me some good ideals for mine. Now the boys will fight over who gets it.

Thanks all for the compliments.

I wanted something masculine .. and purple is not on the masculine side. I wish you could see the border fabric better.. it has the dotted circles and there is purple in it .. so it totally brought it all together. My center square is 3 by 3.. I only used the bags I could get that size out of.

That turned out beautiful, love your fabric choices with the CR bags. Will have to get my brother to save his, they use them at the casinos for their winnings
