Default Scarves for my daughter's teachers for V-Day

I wanted to try this tutorial I found for my daughter's teachers. Once I got the elastic thread to play nice, it was fast moving.

Here is the first one I finished: Both are done but didn't take a pic of the second one since they look the same.

Very pretty, what kind of material did you use?

The tutorial suggests knit, so that is what I used. It wasn't real stretchy but was knit. I got it at Hobby Lobby.

Well they deserve it. We had trouble with our daughter when she went back to MDO, which is just 2 days a week. After months of "bad days", we talked to the director and asked for her to be moved to a different class. We had a feeling she was acting out because of one of her teachers. The very first day in her new class, she was great! Even took a nap which she never did in the old class. She is talking so much more and is more social in school. She is always in a group now when she used to always be alone. We are so thankful for her new teachers for taking her in mid year and working with so that she is caught up and is being social. This is the least we can do.
