I'd go with black for the border to pull that color out.

Definitely does not require a border unless you need it bigger. I vote for something in black though with maybe some other color mixed in with it....you know how they do these batiks.

I vote no binding. Black binding will finish it off nicely. This looks similar to the Turning Twenty batik quilt top I made. It is in my ufo pile. I need to quilt it.

very pretty batik...i have an addiction to buying batiks that goes back 10 yrs. or so this would be a good use of scraps from over the years....thanks for posting

I'm not up for reading all the responses this morning, but it's a BEAUTIFUL quilt, and one that really doesn't even need a border, unless you feel it needs to be bigger. I think sometimes it's good to just "leave well enough alone" as my dear Mother used to say!

its modern and fresh. i think i would eliminate the border completely and just possibly use a black or a dark blue for the binding?
