Default Scrap quilt finished today...

Just wanted to share a couple of photos of this 66x44 inch scrap quilt that I finished today. I used precut squares from my stash, plus an unused blanket and backing fabric that I have had for quite a few years. The binding was also in my stash supply of bindings and laces. I decided to just quilt in the ditch with one of my specialty stitches with gold thread my hubby surprised me with awhile back. Although the whole project was simple and easy, the thread choice and stitch choice added a touch of elegance and a whole lot of charm to the quilt. I decided to give it to the woman who gave me all of her fabrics when she realized she would not use them. She was delighted with receiving it!

Thanks for all comments in advance! This is a superb group of quilters that I really appreciate and enjoy spending time with.

Good for you!!! Your stash may resemble mine, as I have some of the same fabrics.

I like your quilt and especially the gold thread in the quilt. Gives it a sparkle.

Fun quilt. Love the gold thread. Where in the world did you find a husband who would buy you gold thread? Any thread?
