awesome. you finished in 06, but when did you start? I'm always curious what family members say about quilts, but I know we will probably get more validation here bc people here think QUILT. We are an outstanding breed and some around us don't see it, lol. would love to make that valance but then i'd have to buy new curtain rods etc. on a tight budget now. oh well, have your pics to admire. great work. I just love your valance that you made for you bedroom window. It is so beautiful. I also love your quilt too. The colors are so pretty & your work is impeccable. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

quiltincrazy , I think it took me about 3mo to complete the piecing in that quilt. I hand quilted it , so I'd guess it took me at least 6-8months altogether . Course I had other projects going too.

mary that is dedication. i can't wait to do a quilt with a pattern and see if my stuff is more accurate than my current project. it was my first and i designed it. bit off a bit, but that's ok. i'd do anything for my grandkids. The one i am making current princess quilt for just gushes when i make her something. makes my week, my month, my life, lol!
