patrotic quilt try
#7
I do MANY patriotic things.. ( American Veteran Projeect)
and I must say I love it.. yes, it is busy... but thats not always a bad thing.... and I adore the stars ands tripes.. I dont think I have ever seen them done that way... I may have to study them and see if I can replicate them...( work on a donation basis here.. no funds to buy patterns)
Keep up the good work...

Too busy? Never! It shows design talent and is unique. I'm partial to patriotic quilts--I have 3 of them right now at different stages of construction. An additional thought: Maybe it IS too busy for you, so send it to me immediately and make another one for yourself. (Just joking with that last statement.) If you truly are disappointed with the outcome of the quilt, put it away for now and start working on another quilt. After this one has been out-of-sight and out-of-mind for a while, look at it again. I think you'll then see it with "new eyes" and will realize how truly lovely it is.
