I am thinking you should lay them out on a chocolate (pretty) brown. I never thought I would like that as a background but recently saw one with a chocolate brown background and colors very similar to yours and it looked wonderful.

I think a solid white will go well with your Dresden plate, it will make the colors stand out. Good luck to you.

Hi. Try grey or black with a bright yellow centre in all of them and a thin binding in the same yellow.

Very nice color combinations.
I'd like to suggest either a brown or blue, both a deeper shade of the colors in your fabric

Your Dresdens are wonderful! I'd like to see them on either a pale aqua or yellow background.
