Well as u can see from my many recent posts, I just found this thread. This is a fantastic quilt show. It took me 4 days too look at the whole thread. Will visit it often for ideas. I will try to post some of my scrappies soon.

    Scrappys

I've just finished several scrappys, some good, some not so much. But, they were all fun.

I am very late in posting this but I have really enjoyed this so much that I would like to post a couple of my scrappy quilts.

    Name: My triangle quilt.jpg

Size: 66.8 KB

This one was done with a sample book from the old polished cotton curtain material. It was fun but I went stir crazy doing it. I call it "What's the point?"

This one was done as a wedding quilt for my precious granddaughter Chrystal. Name: Chrystal and Tylers wedding_0003.jpg

This is before it was sandwiched and quilted.

    This is the scrappy back.

Jane, if you are referring to my 2nd photo, it is a carpenters square. Sorry I posted the photo of the squares before it was put together. I'll try to upload another of the finished piece.

As always I'm impressed with the continuation of the wonderful scrap quilts that you all keep posting. Great job everyone.

Again I am working on thinning the scraps. But really don't feel I have put a dent in it.

Here is a string quilt that I have finished, PLUS it is a Christmas present (yeah, I'm ahead of the game).

This was made with scraps. I still need to finish the batting, backing, etc., but the top was fun to make. It is a kaleidoscope design.

Here are some of mine. I've done at least 6 of the mile a minute quilts, all using different sashings. I have given away several of those.Name: mile a min gold scrap.JPG

Kzimmer, I really like your kalideoscope quilt. I made one long long ago and loved how the illusion of circles fades in and out.

Welcome to the Quilting Board, btw ...

Kzimmer, what a beauty! Can't wait to see it quilted!

AngeliaNR - fabulous scrappies! I really like the tied plaid and the rail fence is a favorite also.
