I just wish she'd fix her links. More dead ones than not. But the live ones are terrific. Thanks.

That's the name I know it by, too. It's really pretty, isn't it? And the sampler under it is spectacular!

That's one of the many things I love about scrappies... they can be any "color" you want them to be just by how much of one color you use or what border you go with. I can't wait to see yours when it's all done!

Anyone have more than this? (PS Why are so many of the pages duplicated?)
Oooooooooooooh... a quilter's playground! I have so many scraps that they're scattered all over... my sewing studio, the basement, the garage, our storage unit... grrrrrrrrrrrrr! I need to get them all confined together but I'm afraid if I do, we won't have enough room to turn around! LOL!

Aren't they fabulous! I like the horse one the best. And the Apple Core. But they're all beautiful!

I just remembered... I pulled out all the toe catching stitches in the centre, as I thought it looked awful compared to my border quilting...but I bet I am as bad as I was at the beginning now as I haven't done a stitch since LOL!
OMG! Whos is that precious baby sleeping so soundly & sweetly in your quilt? DARLING!!! Why can't mine be like that? He's out in the backyard, probably digging hole #128394... LOL!

Default scrappy starts

I never use to do scrappy at all. always had to be a pattern and certain fabric and would give all the scrap away but after one scrappy I am hooked and have done several. these stars are the latest

Looking good, can't wait to see the finished quilt. Formal looking quilts are great but a scrappy gives a feeling of home and love that the formal quilts just don't convey.

I visit here and decided to add a couple scrappy quilts I've made-scrappies are probably my all time favorite! I sewed the log cabin with my treadle(fun!) and the dresden was scraps my Mom gave me all cut and ready to sew into plates.

The last one is a quick quilt I put together and gave to my daughter while she was waiting for her last baby to be born!
