Scrappy squares wall hangings

So I had some log cabin blocks I had no special purpose in mind for sitting around. As I settle into my new apartment, I've decided to turn them into wall hangings to give the place some color. Here is the first one finished and hung.

What a fantastic wall hanging. That little bird has such great character & I love the little blue one peeking up at the bottom. Is that thread work on the green bird? It's just darling!
