Thank you all for your kind words.

She loved it! She loved the colors, loved that it's reversible, and loved my feather quilting. And she did remember many of the dresses!

She even remembered her father's plaid shirts that were in it, too! I had forgotten about those. (It's been a UFO for a long while!)

Such a simple little pattern and such a good way to use up small scraps. Sometimes simple is just right.

The topper is lovely but the idea and thought behind it is even more lovely. What I wouldn't give to have a mother think enough of me to do something like that.

The biggest shocker was that my husband remembered some of the fabrics, too --his shirts and her first day of school dress. Will wonders never cease? I was so surprised!

What a lovely way to preserve memories. I should do up several of those, using scraps from quilts I made for various family members--piecefully, the old one

I love your 'scrappy memories' quilt! I don't have old scraps or I would make one, too. I am sure you and your daughter will enjoy getting and giving this piece!
